Crypto in, đồng out.
Zap.Tips reads a Vietnamese bank QR, spends the cheapest part of your balance, and settles Vietnamese đồng to the recipient. Powered by BitcoinVN.
Scan the VietQR
Point your camera at any Vietnamese bank or merchant QR, or upload a screenshot. We read the bank, account, and amount instantly. No typing account numbers.
Cheapest route picks a bucket
Your wallet holds Bitcoin and USDT side by side. Every payment auto-picks the cheapest bucket that covers the amount. If no single bucket is enough but the total is, it consolidates first.
The merchant gets đồng
BitcoinVN settles Vietnamese đồng to the recipient bank in one clean transfer. A balance payment lands in about 10 to 14 seconds.
Two buckets, one balance.
Hold Bitcoin and USDT at the same time. You never have to pick which asset to spend, the wallet does it for you.
Bitcoin bucket
Topped up over Lightning or on-chain. Lowest BitcoinVN spread, so it is often the cheapest bucket to spend from.
USDT bucket
Topped up on Polygon, Tron, Ethereum, and more. A stable dollar balance that sits ready to spend beside your Bitcoin.
A VND balance is coming soon.
When one bucket is not enough.
Check each bucket
If a single bucket covers the payment, spend it directly. A balance spend beats a fresh Lightning payment, skipping the roughly 0.5% Lightning deposit fee.
Combine if needed
If no single bucket covers the amount but the total does, the smaller balance is converted into the larger. This is internal at BitcoinVN and takes a few seconds. Consolidation costs about 0.6% extra.
Pay once
The merchant receives one bank transfer in đồng. If consolidation fails, the spend is never attempted and your funds stay safe.
Timing, plainly.
Balance payment
Pay from a single bucket. Settles to the bank in about 10 to 14 seconds.
Multi-bucket payment
Consolidate then pay in one transfer. Settles in about 15 to 20 seconds.
Lightning top-up
Adds Bitcoin to your balance in seconds.
On-chain USDT top-up
Depends on the network. Polygon and Solana around 1 minute, Ethereum several minutes.
Common ones.
What happens if a payment fails?
Your funds stay safe in your balance. If a consolidation step fails, the spend is never attempted, so nothing is lost mid-transfer.
Do I choose which asset to spend?
No. The wallet auto-picks the cheapest bucket, or consolidates the two, for every payment.
Why is a balance payment cheaper than paying fresh over Lightning?
Spending an existing balance skips the roughly 0.5% Lightning deposit fee that a fresh Lightning payment pays.
