Fees and limits

No surprises, no Zap.Tips fee.

Zap.Tips takes no fee of its own. What you pay is the BitcoinVN spread on the asset you spend, plus the network fee your sending wallet pays to move funds. Here are the specifics.

Per-asset spread

BitcoinVN spread by asset.

Roughly. The cheaper the bucket, the less spread you pay.

What you spend Spread Note
Bitcoin (balance) ~0.4% Lowest spread, often the cheapest bucket.
USDT (balance) ~0.5% Stable dollar balance, ready to spend.
Fresh Lightning ~0.9% Paying with no balance. A balance spend is cheaper.
Base chain ~2% Higher rate than the other chains.
Top-up minimums

Minimum to add USDT, per chain.

Bitcoin has no fixed minimum: top up over Lightning or on-chain.

Chain Minimum Note
Polygon 0.50 USDT Lowest fees, default.
Ethereum (ERC-20) 0.50 USDT Settles in several minutes.
Arbitrum 0.50 USDT
Base 4.90 USDT Roughly 2% rate.
BNB Chain (BEP-20) 5 USDT
Solana 5 USDT Settles around 1 minute.
Tron (TRC-20) 37.95 USDT Highest top-up minimum.
Spend minimums

Smallest payment you can make.

USDT balance

~16,000 VND

Minimum spend from a USDT balance.

Bitcoin balance

~66,000 VND

Minimum spend from a Bitcoin balance.

Fresh Lightning

~132,485 VND

Minimum when paying with no balance.

Consolidation and network fees

The rest of the picture.

Consolidation cost

When no single bucket covers a payment but the total does, the wallet converts the smaller balance into the larger before paying. That conversion costs about 0.6% extra. If it fails, the spend is never attempted.

Who pays network fees

Network fees are paid by the sending wallet when you top up. Spending an existing balance beats a fresh Lightning payment, skipping the roughly 0.5% Lightning deposit fee.

Zap.Tips takes no fee

There is no platform fee and no markup added by Zap.Tips. You pay the BitcoinVN spread and any network fee on your top-up, nothing more.
